Premion Expands Regional Sales Leadership Team
Premion, a premium CTV/OTT advertising platform for regional and local advertisers, today announced the addition of two new regional sales leaders to address the accelerating growth of streaming TV advertising. Effective immediately, Amanda Dunlap will serve as Southwest regional sales director and Tracy Kalfas is joining as Midwest regional sales director.
These appointments expand Premion’s direct sales team, which encompasses five key regions: East, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest and West. The regional sales management team is responsible for business development and managing national agency relationships within their territories, in addition to local, direct brand and regional agency relationships.
“OTT is the fastest growing ad-supported category in the media industry, and it continues to accelerate in both consumer and advertiser demand,” said John Vilade, head of sales at Premion. “Premion is the local OTT leader and we’re fortunate to continue to attract best-in-class talent to take us to new levels. Amanda and Tracy join our team with track records of success in digital, linear and OTT. Their additions will enable Premion to continue our rapid expansion, provide greater access to coveted OTT audiences, and drive business outcomes for advertisers. We’re thrilled to have them on board.”
In leading the Southwest region, Amanda Dunlap brings more than 15 years of local television, OTT and digital sales experience for leading media brands. Most recently, she spent six years at NBC Universal, where she was West Coast regional sales director for NBC Spot On and digital sales director for NBC and Telemundo broadcast properties in Los Angeles.
Prior to NBCUniversal, Dunlap was regional digital sales manager for Univision in Los Angeles, vice president of local interactive sales for Entravision in Los Angeles, and director of interactive sales for CBS Radio in Denver.
Tracy Kalfas brings more than 25 years of marketing and cross-media management experience with strong roots working with retail, QSR and entertainment brands. Prior to Premion, she spent 20 years at Initiative in sales leadership roles. She most recently was group director of investments in the Chicago office, managing local media strategies and campaigns for clients across 200 markets.
